3 postpartum doula and counselling sessions:
In-home counselling and hands-on doula supports with infant care and household chores.
Plus: unlimited text and phone support to provide informational and emotional support, as needed.

Virtual counselling services focused on perinatal (the period of time from when a person decides to have a baby to three years postpartum), parental, and family mental health and wellbeing.
Trauma-informed counselling provided in the context of parenting that includes identifying and addressing underlying issues and practical advice and information to help you take action to increase your wellbeing.

Open Book's Owner and Operator, Karen Clarke, is a social worker, counsellor, doula, advocate, and policy professional with over 18 years of experience working directly with families and communities as a practitioner; with non-profit organizations as a board member; with provincial government as a public policy and program professional; and as a self-employed consultant and private practice owner.
Karen excels in assessing and analyzing issues and leading and coordinating complex collaborative work to drive meaningful societal impacts. This includes collaborative projects between private, community, and public sectors; and government relations work.
Karen delivers educational presentations and workshops to groups interested in learning about the perinatal period, parental and child wellbeing, prevention and promotion strategies, and effective intersectoral collaboration for systemic change.
